TOP DOG LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR

WOW! Still cannot believe I am one of 13 overall winners in this year’s annual Xperience Awards, from more than 9000 entries.
And my subject- Border Collie Sky - has won a beautiful wall portrait of their image worth more than £500.
I was “delighted” to have won. The dog category was one of the biggest categories in the competition, so many fantastic images qualified for the final that any contestant could have won. I am so proud that my image was chosen as the overall best in category. To create my own style I always try to bring a creative aspect into my photography by using various natural elements and techniques to enhance the images.
​That day the beautifully dramatic sky appeared as if by magic. I was able to picture in my head the image I wished to create and by using all my photographic skills gain from yeas of experience I was pleasantly surprise at the amazing final image.

I was sat at the table cheering for everyone else when suddenly I heard my name. After a double take I realised I had won, what a fantastic surprise!!! Lost for words and over the moon.
